SHIPPING & DELIVERY POLICY

Welcome to the UMAMI BOOM family! We are dedicated to getting your favorite flavor hacks from our facility to your kitchen as quickly and smoothly as possible. This policy outlines how we handle order processing, shipping, and deliveries across India.

1. ORDER PROCESSING TIMES

We understand you want that INSTANT TASTE SHIFT immediately.

  • All orders are processed and dispatched within 24–48 hours of payment confirmation, excluding Sundays and national holidays.

  • Orders placed after 2:00 PM on Saturdays will be processed on the following Monday.

2. SHIPPING RATES & ESTIMATES

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

  • Standard Shipping: Flat rate of ₹49 across India. Estimated delivery: 3–5 business days.

  • Express Shipping (Air Freight): Flat rate of ₹99. Estimated delivery: 1–3 business days.

  • FREE SHIPPING: We offer FREE Standard Shipping on all prepaid orders over ₹499. No code necessary; free shipping will automatically apply at checkout when the threshold is met.

  • Cash on Delivery (COD): Available for select pin codes at an additional handling fee of ₹40.

3. DOMESTIC SHIPPING COVERAGE

We deliver to 19,000+ pin codes across India via our courier partners (including Blue Dart, Delhivery, DTDC, and Shadowfax).

Please note: Deliveries to remote locations, North-Eastern states, and Jammu & Kashmir may take an additional 2–3 business days.

4. SAME-DAY & QUICK-COMMERCE DELIVERY

If you are located in select metro cities (Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad):

  • Same-Day Courier Delivery: Orders placed before 11:00 AM are eligible for same-day delivery for a flat fee of ₹120.

  • Quick Commerce (Blinkit / Zepto / Instamart): Need it in 10 minutes? Check your local quick-commerce apps to see if UMAMI BOOM is stocked near you.

5. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

Currently, we only ship within India. We are working hard to bring UMAMI BOOM to international foodies soon—stay tuned!

6. SHIPPING CONFIRMATION & ORDER TRACKING

You will receive a Shipping Confirmation via WhatsApp, SMS, and Email once your order leaves our warehouse. The notification will contain your tracking link and AWB number. Tracking information typically updates within 12–24 hours.

7. SHIPMENT DELAYS

While we work with India's top courier networks, unexpected delays may occur due to severe weather conditions, local bandhs/strikes, festival rush periods, or operational issues in containment zones. We appreciate your patience in these scenarios.

8. DAMAGED, LOST, OR STOLEN SHIPMENTS

UMAMI BOOM takes utmost care in packaging to ensure your glass shakers arrive safe.

  • If your package arrives damaged or leaking, please take an unboxing photo/video and email us at support@umamiboom.in within 48 hours of delivery. We will issue a free replacement immediately.

  • If your shipment is marked as "Delivered" by the courier but you haven't received it, please inform us within 24 hours so we can raise a proof-of-delivery (POD) dispute with the shipping partner.

9. INCORRECT ADDRESS & RETURN TO ORIGIN (RTO)

If a package is returned to us due to an incomplete address, wrong phone number, or repeated failed delivery attempts by the courier:

  • Re-shipping charges of ₹60 will apply to dispatch the package to your corrected address.

  • For COD orders returned to us, future COD privileges may be disabled for your account.
